The word Ubuntu stands for high standards of behavior and Universal Friendliness - like Church!

We try to honor the Land, be sensitive to Her, and listen to how she wants to be used and loved.  This visit to Soul Fire Farm will let us see how others have related to another piece of Land,  in service to the promotion of Peace, true history, and justice in the food system.

The heart and soul of our own Ubuntu Land is Sanctuary, a place where praise and meditation infuse every part of daily life, and where all living beings are safe. Increasingly, it’s mission is revealing itself to be a dedication to the end of all genocides, and all forms of genocide.

On a practical level, I’m assuming that if God gave us farmland, we may need at some point to know how to farm!  He doesn’t do things for no purpose, or for empty entertainment!  So, knowing that to be the case, we should learn from the best - Soul Fire Farm!

I’m not looking for us all to turn into farmers, I’m just looking for us to be awake - awake to receive God’s Provision, and to give him thanks and praise BEFORE knowing what this is all about, to Trust,  and to ask for growth in our understanding…..we are here for the Seeds
